Progressive but classic French cuisine, beautifully executed, makes L'Etoile a local favorite. You might find perfectly grilled lamb chops, lobster theatrically flamed in cognac and presented on a bed of julienned vegetables, or veal piccata (sautéed and drizzled with lemon-caper sauce). The menu changes daily. The chocolate Grand Marnier soufflé is incredible; order it with your meal, as it takes 45 minutes to prepare. Great deals include an early-bird special (a 20% discount before 6:30 pm) and a $15 three-course lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
