As you stroll (or drive) down River Oaks Boulevard, you'll be able to see just how they live; be sure to turn left or right on Inwood to check out some the gorgeous mansions clustered around River Oaks Country Club. The area is a must-see during the holidays, when fantastic light displays go up. This leafy enclave, just minutes from downtown, is bordered by Montrose on the east and Uptown on the west.
