Why We Like It
What’s there not to like about a place that makes sure your every need is taken care of? The price to stay is steep, but it’s worth it considering all that comes with it. We love that our meals are included, we have access to kayaks and paddle boards and can pick from any one of the 20 unique fitness and discovery classes taught each day. For those wanting to detox both their bodies and minds, this relaxing hideaway will set your chi right.
One of Austin's most exclusive escapes, this Hill Country resort and spa is located 30 minutes from town, on a prime stretch of Lake Austin shoreline. The expansive property’s stretch of cottage-style guest rooms overlook verdant lawns and calm lake waters. A range of daily fitness and wellness programs, including Tai Chi on the docks, culinary classes, and hydro-bike rides on the lake, are included in package rates. Signature services at the award-winning spa are extra, but well worth the splurge. The onsite Aster Cafe features healthy, yet flavorful, gourmet fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recently redesigned rooms epitomize rustic elegance, with every imaginable comfort and amenity.
The resort offers 20+ fitness and education classes each day. Examples of different classes taught include candlelight meditation, core pilates and homemade pasta.
