East Nashville Brewery Crawl

Nashville has become a major craft beer destination in recent years, with breweries like Yazoo and Jackalope achieving national recognition. And while there are worthwhile craft brewers scattered throughout the city, East Nashville has some of the best. Here are the breweries worth checking off your list during an East Nashville beer crawl.

Smith and Lentz Brewing: Having opened in late 2015, Smith and Lentz Brewing has since established itself as one of Nashville's more acclaimed craft brewers. Favorites include the Mosaic IPA and German Pils, but you can't go wrong with rotating seasonal offerings, either. The taproom sells light snacks and has two Ping-Pong tables, so come with your game face on.

Southern Grist Brewing: For lovers of adventurous varieties of beer, Southern Grist Brewing is a must-visit. Located at a quaint four-way stop and situated by some good local eats, the brewery is equally suited to starting or ending a night on the town. Check out inventive brews like the Money Moves milk stout and the Broconut coconut IPA (note that all offerings are seasonal and vary depending on availability).

East Nashville Beer Works: Located on main thoroughfare Trinity Lane, East Nashville Beer Works is a neighborhood gem. The brewery and taproom serve up beers like blonde ale Miro Miel as well as an eclectic menu of pizza, salads, and appetizers. The back patio is dog-friendly.
