3 Best Performing Arts in Hilton Head and the Low Country, South Carolina

Locals love the theater productions at this arts hub that strives to enrich the community through performing and visual arts. The nonprofit supports youth education programs and showcases the works of more than 150 local artists in its Walter Greer Gallery.

This annual showcase of Gullah life through arts, music, and theater is held at a variety of locations throughout Hilton Head and the Lowcountry in February.

With nearly 100 musicians, the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra is a fully professional ensemble devoted to bringing world-class music to the Lowcountry. In addition to year-round performances, the orchestra supports a host of youth programs, including an international piano competition.
