Fodor's Expert Review The Richards Bed and Breakfast

144 Gibson Ave., Narragansett, Rhode Island, 02882, USA

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

Accomplished gardener Nancy Richards, who owns and operates this circa-1884 English-style stone mansion as a bed-and-breakfast with her husband, Steven, has created a lovely sanctuary for rest and relaxation—the lush grounds are alive with blooming color most of the year, and a koi pond and walking path to the shore add to the tranquillity. Rooms are light and airy, with English antiques, floral-print furniture, and fireplaces.
