Port Washington
Antiques and collectibles stores, gift shops, and old buildings line this town's Main Street, and tall ships bob in the water beyond the town dock at Port Washington Harbor. This area was originally settled in 1674; early residents made their living farming oysters and raising cattle until the 20th century, when the sand and gravel industry took off.
