Most courts charge by the hour but will let players continue after their initial hour for free, provided no one is waiting. Many hotels and condos charge a fee for nonguests.

Best Spots

Kapalua Tennis Garden. This complex has 10 courts (4 lighted for night play) and a pro shop. The fee is $25 per person per day. Lahaina Civic Center. The best free courts are the nine at the Lahaina Civic Center, near Wahikuli State Park. Wailea Tennis Club. Featuring 11 Sportsmaster courts, this club also offer lessons, rentals, and ball machines. Daily clinics help you improve your ground strokes, serve, volley, or doubles strategy.
