This respected slow-food restaurant features fine dining in a lush, open-air setting beneath the shade of an old monkeypod tree. The proprietors, top chefs from the Bay Area, strive to use all local and organic ingredients for such dinner entrées as handcrafted house gnocchi or Mediterranean seafood stew. In addition to serving only local meats and seafood (plus vegetables harvested each morning), the restaurant makes its own pastas, baked goods, and desserts. Brunch features sweet or savory options like frittatas or pancakes.
