Fodor's Expert Review Westville Village

Warp back in time to the mid-19th century at Westville Village. In Lumpkin, 7 mi east of Plains, this replica of an 1850s town has more than 30 pre–Civil War buildings, relocated and authentically restored. Costumed tour guides show you the town. The village comes alive with hearth-cooked food, mules and wagons, and period-dressed townspeople and tradesmen demonstrating skills such as candle making, quilting, and cotton baling.
