Why We Like It

Once again, location and price combine to win our hearts. But this lodging has two great pools, a good onsite restaurant, and excellent accommodations and activities, whether you are a couple or a family.

Fodor's Expert Review

This hotel, conveniently situated near the Disney Springs entrance to WDW, is a pool-centered oasis of cool, the perfect place to decompress after, or in the middle of, a busy day at the parks. Some guest rooms are roomy family suites with bunk beds. You can play beach volleyball, chill out in a cabana, enjoy the nightlife, or take advantage of the full-service spa. All rooms have refrigerators and flat-screen TVs, microwaves available on request.

You Should Know A substantial nightly resort fee covers shuttle service to all Disney theme parks and nearby factory outlets, use of the fitness center, in-room Wi-Fi, a 10% discount on spa services, and in-room water.

Room

Bright, modern décor greets you in the good-sized rooms, which have either two double beds or a king sized bed, all fitted with duvet-style linens. Amenities include a mini-fridge, free Wi-Fi, and a 42’ flat screen TV. That pesky work you had to bring along is accomplished in comfort with a desk and task chair. Some rooms also feature bunk beds, to comfortably accommodate a family.

Tip Some top floor rooms have partial views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from their balconies.

Bathroom

The vanity and sink are outside the bathroom, which contains a standard tiled tub/shower and WC.

Lobby

Bright modern art welcomes you into the spacious lobby, where many desks make check in a breeze. Adjacent to the lobby is the Springboard Marketplace, a convenience store for quick snacks and drinks, Starbucks beverages, and beer and wine. There is also a video game arcade in the main area.

Pool

Two pools provide a place for active fun or serene relaxation. The Falls Pool has a waterfall and a 79-foot slide. The Beach pool features lounge chairs, some submerged in the pool, for truly chill relaxing. Private poolside cabanas are available with food and drink service. The staff has specific aquatic activities for the kids, and there are nightly movies shown on a big screen in the pool area.

You Should Know Towel service is not generally available until mid-morning, a couple of hours after the pools open for the day.

Spa

A relaxing environment of neutral colors offers you a place to relax and unwind, with traditional services such as facials, massage, body scrubs, and couples services. Manicures and pedicures are available, and you can request in-room services if you prefer. Appointments in advance are highly recommended.

Gym

This bright, large space features many treadmills and ellipticals and some Life Fitness weight stations.

Dining

Zest, the main dining option just off the lobby, provides a spare, modern atmosphere where the entire family can enjoy breakfast or dinner. Of particular note is a special menu for the kids. 27 Palms Grill offers casual cuisine and cocktails served by both pools.

Drinking

Beer and wine are available at the on-site convenience store, and both hotel restaurants provide a full range of beverages.
