Fodor's Expert Review Sundance Cafe and Lodge

Locals love this place for its low-key atmosphere and great, diner-style breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The blue-checked tableclothes and wood-paneled bar and walls create a homey feel. Dinner features steak, chicken, pasta dishes, and crab legs. Lunch (served all day) is more casual, with burgers and sandwiches. Try the Robbie Burger, which is topped with bacon and Brie. From both the deck and the inside, you enjoy great views of the Indian Peaks to the west, Boulder to the east, and Roosevelt National Forest on all sides.
