Set in the heart of downtown and right at the base of the gondola, Aspen's oldest and most iconic ski-in ski-out hotel features luxurious, modern rooms and superior staff and service. Most accommodations have mountain-view balconies; all have fireplaces, beds piled with plush down comforters, and large marble bathrooms. On-site are two of the town's best restaurants, Element 47 and Ajax Tavern, as well as a wine bar that hosts an impressive wine list (you can take a tour of the cellar) and the most fashionable après-ski scene.
