This entertaining museum displays "vehicles, costumes, awards, and bribes" from the area's Kinetic Grand Championship. Every Memorial Day weekend, artists, engineers, and plenty of hacks cobble together moving sculptures from used bicycle parts and other scraps and race them from Arcata to Ferndale. Contestants are judged as much on their creativity as on their ability to cross the finish line, and as a result sculptures have included the Albino Rhino and a 93-foot-long fish.
