Fodor's Expert Review Tetra Hotel, Autograph Collection

With a sleek Japanese-inspired modern design, this is definitely one of Silicon Valley’s top hotel destinations. Even though it’s part of the Marriott brand (there’s an adjacent, more casual AC Hotel), nothing feels like a chain at the Tetra. The lobby is serene and lofty with exposed concrete and natural light flooding in everywhere. Right outside the lobby door is a beautiful terrace. Upstairs is a small yet beautiful outdoor pool that is better for lingering over bay views than actually swimming laps. Guest rooms have the same design theme as the lobby and emphasize high-quality, nicely designed furniture and gentle decor touches, like plush sofas or living room chairs by the floor-to-ceiling windows.
