Fodor's Expert Review Signia by Hilton San Jose

Downtown San Jose’s massive signature hotel recently switched brands and underwent a renovation, changing from Fairmont to this Hilton label. The central location can’t be better, overlooking the Plaza de Cesar Chavez. There are multiple dining options and several special amenities, including a rooftop pool and fitness center that features a sauna and steam room. The grand, arched lobby is a stunner, and while the rooms aren’t quite the equivalent design spectacle, they are spacious and have a pleasant if somewhat nondescript contemporary look.
