Fodor's Expert Review The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe

5951 Linea del Cielo, Rancho Santa Fe, California, 92067, USA

As one of the country’s first boutique hotels---it was designed in 1923 by Lilian Rice, who was known for her architectural works reflecting Spanish colonial style---The Inn’s 17 individual cottages are spread around 22 lushly landscaped acres. Some units have skylights, Saltillo tile or hardwood floors, original paintings, oversize showers, granite countertops, and private patios with fireplaces. Guests can relax at The Spa where indoor/outdoor treatment rooms feature copper tubs for milk baths. One of the most coveted services though may be the chance to play golf at the exclusive Rancho Santa Fe Country Club just up the road.
