Silver Lake

This hilly, mostly residential neighborhood sits southeast of Los Feliz and northwest of Echo Park. Regarded as a bohemian enclave since the 1930s, it was the site of the first large film studio built by Walt Disney. Today Silver Lake is known for cute boutiques, bougie coffeehouses, and specialty restaurants along its stretch of Sunset Boulevard.
