Fishing
The best place to fish is in Manzanita Lake, though it's catch and release only. Butte, Juniper, Snag, and Horseshoe lakes, along with several creeks and streams, are also popular fishing destinations within the park. Anglers will need a California freshwater fishing license, which you can obtain at most sporting-goods stores or through the California Department of Fish and Wildlife's website (www.wildlife.ca.gov).
