Outside Jasper National Park

The Jasper Townsite is 287 km (178 miles) north of the Banff Townsite, 400 km (249 miles) northwest of Calgary, 360 km (224 miles) west of Edmonton, and 82 km (51 miles) west of Hinton. Most visitors arrive from Calgary or Edmonton—both near the major highway—where the two international airports are located.
