This restaurant facing Progreso's long cement promenade is a cut above its neighbors, with professional and attentive service. Dishes include creamy cilantro soup, lightly fried fish fillets, and free appetizers like black beans with corn tortillas or shredded shark meat stewed with tomatoes. There's a full bar, and although there's no air-conditioning, large, glassless windows let in the ocean breeze. Breakfast is served after 7 am.
