For cultural events, try the Centro Cultural Sampedrano, which often has art exhibitions. It also serves as the public library.

The six-theater multiplex Cinemark in the Multiplaza shows Hollywood releases a few weeks after their U.S. premieres. Most films are shown in English with Spanish subtitles. Children's movies are the exception: they're dubbed.
