One of Cahuita's most elegant lodgings, this group of bungalows is graced with tile-floor terraces facing a pool and gardens growing on an ancient coral reef. Carpeted rooms have original paintings and custom-made wooden furniture. The largest cottage sleeps up to six people. All have air-conditioning, a rarity on the Caribbean coast. Yoga is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:30 am, and the lovely pool area has a communal grill for use. The open-air bar rocks to great blues and jazz recordings in the evening and mellows with classical music at breakfast.
