Every August, Henrik Ibsen’s drama Peer Gynt is performed as part of one of Norway’s largest cultural festivals in the small mountain village of Gålå, about a 30-minute drive from Ringebu. The nine-day celebration also includes concerts, exhibits, and lectures.
