Fodor's Review

Just off Piazza Barberini, this upscale trattoria serves Tuscan classics like white beans and high-quality meat dishes, including the famed bistecca alla fiorentina (Tuscan porterhouse), as well as other cuts of beef, lamb, and veal. The homemade pappardelle al cinghiale (wide, flat noodles in a wild boar sauce) is excellent. There are also a few key Roman dishes on the menu, as well as brocoletti sauteéd to perfection with garlic and olive oil. The wine list favors robust Tuscan reds and thick wallets. The decor is basic wood paneling and white linens, with the requisite older—and often grumpy—waiters.
