Fodor's Expert Review Hotel Metropolis

The Hotel Metropolis is a recently renovated (2018 and upped to a five-star boutique establishment) neoclassical landmark building in the center of Ioannina. The mostly white rooms are given bold colors by the funky furniture and a mixture of antiques and modern designs, while the beds have luxurious Coco-mat mattresses. The breakfast, which is to a high standard, is served in the mostly windowed bistro/bar area, where you can also enjoy an evening cocktail or a glass of fine local wine.
