A light-filled lobby makes a first good impression, but Oktoberfest revelers value Brack's proximity to the beer-festival grounds, and its location—on a busy, tree-lined thoroughfare just south of the city's center—is handy for city attractions too. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

The rooms are furnished in light, friendly veneers, have soundproof windows (a useful feature during Oktoberfest), and have amenities such as hair dryers--although they are all a little dated.

Bathrooms, too, are not quite up to the minute, although they are clean.

Getting Around
The hotel is walking distance from Oktoberfest, but for other destinations, it is also only a minute or two from Poccistraße U-bahn station.
Restaurants
Try nearby Goldmarie (1-minute walk), a modern, stripped back restaurant with authentic Bavarian specialities. Or there's Restaurant Mittendrin (3-minute walk), a charming modern bistro run by a culinary couple with pedigrees from some of Munich's top hotels.
WHY WE LIKE IT
Brack is a comfortable, affordable choice for Oktoberfest attendees, and not bad for other travellers either, thanks to the keen pricing, long breakfast hours and quiet rooms.
