Fodor's Expert Review L'Hostellerie du Vieux Cordes

21 rue St-Michel, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Occitania, 81170, France

One of famed chocolatier Yves Thuriès's lovely Cordes hotels, this 13th-century house, built around a spectacular courtyard dotted with tiny tables and shaded by a magnificent 300-year-old wisteria, has stylishly decorated guest rooms and a fine on-site eatery. Guest salons have tone-on-tone color schemes and antique accents. Downstairs, the bistro has a 19th-century vibe, with delicious menus crafted around salmon and duck by Thuriès.
