Founded in the 10th century as a fishing port (the name is a Germanic form of "fish"), Fécamp still relies on the sea for its sustenance. After taking in the sights, be sure to sample the catch of the day in one of its harborside eateries; you can cap the meal with a dram of Bénédictine, the town’s own herbal liqueur.
