Fodor's Expert Review Restaurant Christian Quenel
On the main square of Flagey-Echézeaux, a stellar wine village lying a few kilometers southeast of Clos de Vougeot, this inconspicuous culinary haven fills up with locals out for a quiet, French-inspired terroir-driven meal. Expect creations such as langoustines with butternut squash and a beetroot dressing, or joues de boeuf (beef cheeks) with a Pinot Noir sauce. The wine list is, of course, excellent.
