Fodor's Expert Review Poul Pava
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Named after a Danish painter and designer who lives on the island, this restaurant seeks to bring the same fun and inventiveness to its menu that he brings to his art. Subscribing to the rustic Danish style, the chefs turn out updated versions of Danish classics like steamed salmon with chili paste, pork cheeks in a beetroot terraine, and fried saffron polenta in red lentils. As attractive as the outside patio is on warm days, it's often worth stepping inside for the live music acts as well as Pava's artwork, which can be purchased just next door in the gallery.
