Air Travel

Cyprus has two major airports, namely Larnaca International Airport and Paphos International Airport. Whereas the airport in Paphos is smaller, the two airports together handle over seven million passengers annually. There are a number of airlines that fly into Cyprus but not all have direct flights. Aegean Airlines, British Airways, easyJet, and Ryanair fly direct from London to Larnaca and/or Paphos. Lufthansa and Ryanair also fly from many Continental and Mediterranean cities. Other carriers include KLM and Transavia from Amsterdam, Austrian Airlines from Vienna, Swiss from Geneva and Zurich, Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi, Emirates Airlines from Dubai, Aeroflot from Russia, Qatar Airlines from Qatar and Gulf Air from Bahrain. Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air fly from Athens and numerous other Greek cities. There are no direct flights between Cyprus and the United States.
