Across the bay from Condado is Miramar, a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood. Recently, many young professionals have moved to the area, resulting in a wave of great bars and restaurants. It's also where you'll find the Convention District and the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music. Home to the Puerto Rico Convention Center, the San Juan Marina, and Isla Grande airport, the once-industrial area of Isla Grande is rapidly developing along the waterfront. Construction is under way for the District Live complex, which will bring a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment to the area.
