Although it has access to only a small beach, this modern waterfront resort offers stunning views from some rooms, plenty of activities, and a great restaurant. The eye-popping decor includes cherry-red rooms and enormous photographs of wild orchids. There are three swimming pools (one with a water slide), tennis courts, and the Condado Lagoon, where guests can kayak or paddleboard. It's also home to Pikayo, one of Puerto Rico's most notable restaurants. Echoing hallways (and heavy doors) can make for sleepless nights. Be sure to request a room in the west wing, where you can see powerful waves crash dramatically onto the rocks below.
