Punta Cana Horseback Riding

Adventure Land Punta Cana. Long-established, the former Southfork Ranch (Rancho Pat), which has been the stable of choice in Punta Cana, is now a part of the Barceló resort complex (owners are still the same). Trail rides are along Barceló's "private" beach and on open-country roads. Morning rides start out at 9 and include a mojito break at a typical bar. Another includes an exploratory mission to Taíno caves and culminates in a lobster beach cookout. Then there is the memorable sunset beach ride, which can end with a beach bonfire barbecue. The company also offers other activities, including ATV tours. Barceló Resort Complex, Bávaro, La Altagracia. 809/223–8896; adventures-puntacana.com. From $55.
