Willunga

City
ABOUT

Sitting slightly inland from the coast (and not to be confused with Port Willunga, which is next to Aldinga), this sleepy town takes its name from a Kaurna word meaning either “place of green trees” or “place of dust.” Fortunately, the former is a more accurate description and it’s easy to fall in love with the charming main street lined with historic cottages that make liberal use of locally quarried slate.
