Shiraoi
City
ABOUT
Shiraoi is a small coastal town located due south of Sapporo. It has a significant Ainu population and is home to the Upopoy National Ainu Museum and Park. With only one major attraction (albeit a notable one), it's more of a side-trip destination (and often visited by travelers staying over in Sapporo or Noribetsu Onsen).
