Fodor's Expert Review Taj Gateway

A good, though distant, view of the Taj Mahal from some rooms and the rooftop make this hotel a popular choice. The best views are from the 10 Executive Rooms, where daybeds are positioned before the huge windows for a dead-on sightline (albeit across a somewhat unsightly foreground). The elegant marble lobby opens onto an excellent restaurant. Rooms feature marble inlay on the red sandstone headboards and screens. The palm-fringed pool is surrounded by acres of landscaped lawn.
