Five minutes from Anse Réunion beach, this small and good value guesthouse includes self-catering apartments and rooms alike. The newly built apartments all have air-conditioned en suite bedrooms with king-size beds and ceiling fans, a living room and equipped kitchen, and a veranda. Three standard rooms are also available. All rooms look out to a peaceful garden with a pool area, and at the time of this writing, a breakfast restaurant was under construction.

Part of a former vanilla plantation in La Digue's lush interior at the foot of the island's only mountain, this lovely old chateau is surrounded by a tranquil garden filled with orchids and exotic flowers. Rooms are large and clean, mostly with mountain views, and the rate includes a good breakfast and free Wi-Fi. A lovely pool and restaurant/bar make for relaxing public areas where you can get to know fellow guests.

The 44 A-frame villas of La Digue's oldest hotel that dot Anse Réunion beach are fully equipped with the expected amenities of a large hotel. The simple chalets of white painted takamaka wood and thatched latanier leaves are pleasant and comfortable, but don't come here expecting elegance or pizzazz. However, with the beach just outside your front door, a large pool overlooking the sea, and great sunset views, chances are you won't spend too much time inside. A spa with a variety of massage treatments, an on-site dive center, numerous nearby hikes, and excursions to the nearby smaller islands mean that you never need to search far to keep yourself occupied. The lodge also offers the nine-room Beach House, which can be rented in its entirety or room by room, and the Petit Village, comprised of eight attached rooms in a secluded corner of the gardens.

The place to stay for those who swoon over elegant Zen style, the hotel's 55 villas are set in an old orange-tree grove (hence the name) and along its granite hills among enormous granite boulders. Overflowing with details like intricate stonework, dangling walls of shells, finely wrought mobiles of driftwood, water features, stone Buddhas graced with flowers and the like, the ambience fuses a Seychelles and Southeast Asian–spa style. A lush jungle landscape adds to the exotic appeal, but steep hillsides mean dependence on buggies to get to some rooms. Though the hotel's beachfront annex offers a swank beach bar, two restaurants, and a pool, the actual beach here is not fantastic.
