The opening of the White Elephant Palm Beach will symbolize the unlikely marriage of two legendary resorts. The Barrière Group’s latest opening will bring one of France’s finest luxury hotels to the Caribbean. Downtown L.A. Proper Hotel

WHERE: Los Angeles, California

Opened as a private club in 1926 and then transformed into a hotel in the ’40s before becoming a YWCA until 2004, the historic Broadway Corridor building will be reimagined once again in 2020 as it becomes the newest Proper Hotel. The Downtown L.A. Proper Hotel will hold 148 rooms and ample common spaces, with restaurants, bars, and a rooftop pool.
