Melora Garrison

Melora Garrison is a freelance writer and former lawyer who has lived in Spain, Ecuador, and throughout her home state of California. Her travel adventures range from camping in below-freezing temperatures on the Inca Trail en route to Machu Picchu, to getting lost in the ancient alleyways of Morocco’s medinas, to biking along the Danube in the shadow of European castles, to taking a boat into a waterfall on New Zealand’s Milford Sound—and everything in between! Melora’s writing has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The Bold Italic, the essay collection “L.A. Affairs,” and elsewhere. She received her undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley and her law degree from UCLA Law.
