Lauren Harkawik
Lauren Harkawik is a freelance journalist focused on culture, food, and travel. Her work has appeared in several publications, including The Takeout, Architectural Digest, Times Union Hudson Valley, The Deerfield Valley News. Harkawik has long been drawn to living in tourism-heavy areas. She’s is based in the Mount Snow ski region of southern Vermont, where she is raising her family in a small town that has a year-round population of about 2,000. She grew up in upstate New York and, before moving to Vermont, lived in Orlando, Fla., where she worked at Walt Disney World; and New York City, where she worked in entertainment production and management.
