Kristina Kasparian

Kristina Kasparian is a writer, travel photographer, scientist, and health activist based in Montreal, Canada. She holds a PhD in neurolinguistics and investigates how the multilingual brain learns, uses, and forgets languages. She loves that places teach us about ourselves and that a heart can have many homes. After living abroad in Milan, Venice, Berlin and Groningen, Kristina created her travel art shop, Veni Etiam Photography. Her writing about wellness, identity, and the quest for a fulfilling life has been published by Roxane Gay, Catapult, The Globe & Mail, Italy Magazine, Wander Magazine, and several literary journals. She consults with healthcare providers and global organizations to improve standards of healthcare for disabling conditions like endometriosis. When she's not writing or working, you'll find her inventing new recipes, sunbathing in her treetop urban garden, or on the next flight to Italy.
