Kimberly Yavorski

Kimberly Yavorski is a freelance writer who loves exploring new places both domestic and abroad, from urban streets to rustic wilderness, and is at home anywhere from campsites to luxury accommodations. She got her first “Junior Pilot wings” at 7 months and loves to fly, but has also spent thousands of hours on road trips. A Jersey girl who spent a few of her early years in the Midwest, she currently calls the Philadelphia area home. A former trade journal editor, she has bylines in The Hill, Business Insider, Next Avenue, and Vox’s Racked. Besides travel, she most commonly writes about parenting, education, science and history.
