Jessica Shaw

Jessica Shaw is an award-winning journalist and radio host, who has written for The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Town & Country, People, Sports Illustrated, and Vanity Fair. After two decades as a senior writer at EW, she transitioned to hosting a show on SiriusXM, where she interviews actors, directors, musicians, and writers. She has recently returned to travel journalism, and has written about everything from shopping in Bhutan to road-tripping in upstate New York. Shaw was awarded the 2022 Lowell Thomas Silver Award from the Society of American Travel Writers for a New York Times article about retracing her father's escape over the Pyrenees mountains in 1940. She is a sought-after moderator for panels and events, ranging from SXSW, Comic-Con, 92Y, and SAG-AFTA, and has interviewed everyone from Meryl Streep to Zendaya to Bradley Cooper. She graduated from Barnard College where she studied Medieval literature, and has traveled extensively through the Middle East, Europe, and Central America. Alas, she can't quit Broadway shows and her local bodega's egg sandwiches, so Brooklyn is home.
