Jenny Elliott

Jenny Elliott

Jenny has been a travel writer for 8 years and loves city breaks and cultural travel. That said, she's not too averse to a day at the beach if armed with a good book and plenty of snacks. Jenny has lived in Lusaka, Hong Kong, Prague, and Colombo. This has taught her a lot about being comfortable with change, as well as the best way to pack a suitcase. (In case you are wondering, roll rather than fold). She's now back in the north of England and is enjoying exploring her home country with fresh eyes. Her writing has appeared in various online and print publications, including Lonely Planet, The Guardian, Atlas Obscura, the Independent, The i-Paper, Culture Trip and more. She also runs a family travel blog, where she writes about the joys and frustrations of travelling with her two children around Europe and Asia.
