Emily Hochberg is a Southern California-based freelance travel writer and editor with over 15 years of experience covering destinations and city guides, hotels, luxury, family travel, transportation and lifestyle. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The George Washington University and was previously the Senior Travel Editor at Business Insider where her work was awarded by the North American Travel Journalists Association. Her byline has also appeared in The Los Angeles Times, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, U.S. News & World Report, The Points Guy, Thrillist, Apartment Therapy, MTV, PEOPLE, and US Weekly among others. She’s visited more than 35 countries and called New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, London and Tel Aviv home before moving to California for her newest adventure in Palm Springs.
