Craig Stoltz, former travel editor of The Washington Post, has contributed to many publications over the years, including GQ, Esquire, Life, and Washingtonian. He has recently published stories in Travel Awaits, GoWorld Travel, and Savory Traveler. He is Senior Editor of Food, Wine, and Travel Magazine, the publication of the International Food, Wine, and Travel Writers Association, and a member of the Society of American Travel Writers. Born in Cleveland, he left to pursue an M.A. in English at the University of Maryland, and has made the Washington, D.C. area his home ever since. He and his wife have taken e-bike tours in half a dozen countries and counting.
