Carla Sosenko is a journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, People, Refinery29 and other publications. She was previously the copy chief and managing editor of Life & Style, editor in chief of Time Out New York, and executive editor of Entertainment Weekly. She is currently the executive editor at large of Us Weekly. Carla has a BA in English and a BS in journalism (both magna cum laude) from Boston University, and an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College. Her memoir, I'll Look So Hot in a Coffin: and Other Thoughts I Used to Have About My Body, is out now from The Dial Press/Random House. She also cowrote TikToker Melissa Dilkes Pateras' book, A Dirty Guide to a Clean Home: Housekeeping Hacks You Can't Live Without. Carla's first journalism internship, in 1997, was at Outbound Traveler magazine in Marblehead, Mass., and she relied heavily on Fodor's guides to write about cities she hadn't been to yet.
