Brittany Chrusciel

Brittany has been reporting on travel by land and sea for the past decade, with an emphasis on cruising and its many ports and destinations. As Destinations Editor for Cruise Critic, she drove through Southeast Alaska looking for the best stays and island-hopped from Puerto Rico to the USVI and St. Maarten to report on recovery and tourism efforts after Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Brittany has written on topics from Van Gogh’s Arles to the cranberries of Wisconsin for a variety of travel industry publications including Travel Weekly, U.S. News and World Report, Adventure.com, Travel Market Report and more. When she’s not at sea or sailing down a river, she can be found in her lifelong home of Asbury Park “Where Music Lives,” New Jersey and regularly shares her knowledge of the Garden State with Jersey’s Best magazine. Brittany studied writing, political science, global studies and Spanish at Marist College, followed by four months circumnavigating the globe on Semester at Sea. She is proud to employ the education gained by all of those experiences on a near-daily basis.
